ColorHow to play Flag Tone
Flag Tone asks you to reconstruct a flag color using hue, saturation, and brightness. Read the country and the highlighted part, adjust the three sliders, and submit. A set has five rounds. The result compares your chosen color with the original and gives you a score.

Choose a region before starting
The opening screen offers Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania. Select a region you want to practice, then use the play control. For your first session, pick the region whose flags you recognize most readily. That helps separate remembering a flag from learning to use the controls.
A useful way to improve your guesses
Start by naming the target part to yourself: the field, a stripe, or a small symbol. A flag can contain several colors, and remembering the country does not tell you which one the question wants.
Choose the color family first. Then decide whether your preview is too muted or too vivid. Finally compare its brightness with your memory. After the reveal, record the kind of mistake you made, rather than trying to memorize a score. “My blue was too violet” is a useful correction for the next round.
For multi-color flags, avoid averaging the whole flag in your head. Mentally isolate the requested shape. A small yellow emblem can look darker when surrounded by a bright red field; focus on the emblem itself.
Does this quiz test country names?
The focus here is the shade used in the flag. Treat it as color recall with a geography theme. A good score is feedback against the game's chosen reference, not a certification that you know an official national color specification.
