    This Privacy Policy describes how Toon Tone ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit toontone.fun and play the embedded Toon Tone game. By using the site you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

    We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page; the "last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

    What We Collect

    Toon Tone is intentionally low-touch. We do not require an account, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifying information.

    We may collect or process the following limited data:

    • Gameplay state in your browser. Your scores and game progress are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you choose to share them.
    • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamps. These logs are kept only for security and abuse-prevention purposes and are rotated automatically.
    • Anonymous analytics. This site uses two analytics tools: Google Analytics 4 and a self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance running on analytics.xhorizon.org. Both give us aggregated, non-identifying usage data such as page views, referrers, and approximate region. Google Analytics sets cookies; the Plausible instance does not, and it is hosted by us rather than by a third party. We do not sell or share this data. We do not use Microsoft Clarity or any session-recording tool on this site.
    • Advertising. The ads on this site are served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies or similar technology. See the Advertising section below for what that means and how to switch personalised ads off.
    • The embedded game. The Toon Tone game at the top of the homepage is loaded in an iframe from a third-party domain (toon-tone.vercel.app, which currently redirects to toontone.games). Several other games on this site are likewise embedded from their own developers' domains — each game's page names its publisher. Any data those games collect is governed by their own policies, not by this one.

    What We Don't Collect

    • We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, address, or payment information.
    • We do not require you to create an account.
    • We do not sell, rent, or trade any data with third parties for marketing. We do not upload visitor lists, email addresses, or any customer data to an advertising platform. What Google collects through the ad and analytics tags described below is collected by Google directly, under its own policies, and never passes through us.

    Cookies and Local Storage

    Toon Tone uses local storage (a small slice of data kept in your browser) to remember your scores and preferences. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies, and Google AdSense and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technology to select and measure the ads you see. Our self-hosted Plausible instance sets no cookies at all. You can clear local storage and cookies at any time from your browser settings; doing so will reset your local scores, and it will not stop any game on the site from working.

    Advertising

    This site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to select and measure ads, which can include personalised advertising based on your prior browsing. We do not receive that data and we cannot see who you are from it.

    You can review or switch off personalised advertising at any time in Google's My Ad Center. Turning personalisation off does not remove ads; it means they are no longer selected using your browsing history. Google explains what it collects for advertising in its own privacy and terms notice.

    Advertising has no influence on which games are covered on this site or on how they are described, and we take no payment from any of the game developers listed.

    Children's Privacy

    Toon Tone is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us by mistake, please contact us and we will delete it.

    Third-Party Services

    The site loads resources from third parties, each of which operates under its own privacy policy: the developers' domains that host the embedded games, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Google Fonts. Our Plausible analytics instance is self-hosted rather than third-party.

    Your Choices

    • Turn off personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center.
    • Disable cookies or block third-party scripts in your browser at any time. Using an ad blocker does not stop any game or guide on this site from working.
    • Clear Toon Tone data by clearing your browser's local storage for toontone.fun.
    • Use a privacy-focused browser or extension if you prefer.
